House of Blues Concert

WOW!  Wish I had a Music Teacher that had concerts as cool as this one!  Very excited to be invited to Alison Williams Music Studio first House of Blues Concert!  INCREDIBLE!  A great time was had by all!  The music was over the TOP!  Great Band!  Great performing!  Loved the last 2 songs with Ali and Kyle jammin'!!

July is a very fun Mary Kay month!  Great training by NSDE Judy Rohde at our Customer Appreciation in Dallas.

Billie Gillespie is an INCREDIBLE makeup artist!  Look at our BEAUTIFUL model!  It is so fun and rewarding to have the support of my girls!  Doesn't Ali make a GORGEOUS model.  Of course, I am partial to Ali!!

The Bachelor Pad

Kyle is really liking his Bachelor Pad ~ only a bachelor and his dog could live there.  It's a great place ~ for bachelor's!  When you are going to an OU football game ~ call Kyle ~ he'll let you park at his house.  less than a mile from the stadium!  Boomer Sooner!

Kelsey's Austin Birthday

Had a Fabulous time "doing Austin's 5th street" for Kelsey's birthday.  I kept up with everyone pretty well!  We ended the evening at The Depot.  Great music and dancing and decor.  There was my namesake - the KT railroad!!

Mother's Day 2010

Mother's Day 2010 was a scene from my favorite show "Modern Family".  Alison was singing at Lone Star Park for the horse races.  I found out my baptist preacher husband LOVES horse racing!  He can always pick the winner as long as he doesn't bet on the horses.  Going to my born and raised Baptist Mom's first horse races was a field trip by itself!  It was also Aslynn's first horse race.

So there we are - Alison's singing the Star Spangled Banner and doing FABULOUS!!  Aslynn can't understand why her Mom is in a little box - ie the small TV in our suite at the races.  Every time Aslynn sees a horse she is clapping her hands and saying "neeeeigh, neeeigh".  Oh did I mention Jimmy and Sally were there too.  Eric did a great job entertaining all of us!

Alison get back from singing and we are about to have the first race.  Alison is trying to get the winner from Charles before they put their $5 on a horse.  HURRY!  The race is about to start Charles!  Eric come here quick - do you have the money honey??  My Mom is shouting, "vote for that horse, vote for that horse.  he's from McKinney!  I'm in the middle of our Mary Kay end of the year race - I'm thinking about the movie Seabisquit and Dreamer - movies about race horses - "We are the race horse.  Not the pace horse"  We can do it!  We are a great champion! ~~~ and I am crying my eyes out.  The whole park is cheering and I'm crying.  Vote for that one!  Charles hurry pick the winner!  Neeigh Neeigh!

Taking It Easy

Hope you can follow this ADD girl!  Had so much fun on my birthday month I just had to start there with the blog!  When your birthday is in the middle of the week, the birthday celebrations can last a long time.  I went with mom to the Dallas Arboretum, a luncheon with Alison, and my friend Judy Rohde, celebrated with Aslynn with a Sonic Jr cheese burger meal and a road trip with my girlfriends DeDe and Jill to the beach in Galveston where we rented a beach house for a long weekend.  I LOVE my birthday month!

My Family

Here are some pics of my family!  We have a blast together!  We are having fun with Mom at the Dallas Arboretum this spring.  The middle pic is of Charles and I at the Mary Kay Seminar 2009.  The bottom pic is at Aslynn's 1 year old birthday!  HOW MUCH FUNNN!  Kyle came in from University of Oklahoma and Kelsey drove up from Austin.  I've never had so much fun with bubbles, sand and cupcakes!  Aslynn had more fun than anyone at her 1st birthday!  She did great!

Father's Day

Father's Day and Alison's Birthday were the same day for us ~ June 20th.

So part 2 of the day was Father's Day. The Father of the Year goes to ~ ERIC!! As a one yr old Father - he is the BEST!!

The Father of the Decade goes to Charles! He's been a Dad for 2 decades now! He doesn't look like a deer in headlights like he did our first year of marriage. There should be a television show called - Everybody Loves Charles~ cause they do!! We love you Charles!

Happy 30th Birthday Alison!

We had a great time celebrating Alison's birthday! We just took it easy and hung out at Ali and Eric's newly updated home. I gave her the BEST card ever. When Ali was under 21 she used fake ID after fake ID after fake ID after fake ID ~ I always seemed to confiscate them. Her 30th bday card said "At 30 Ali started using her fake ID again. 21? Right!" ha ha ha ha ha!

Kelsey had it easy - she used Alison's' real ID. Kyle just used his Military ID. I guess the first child always has it the roughest.

Welcome to Blogging

I must admit, I was not crazy about blogging until I saw the blog book my daughter Alison published after 1 year. It is sooo cool! So, I thought, I'll try it. So here I am, doing something just for me! (and maybe someone will enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy Alison's) :)KT
